DRILL - DRILL - DRILL - Initial Statement At approximately 07:30 hours (Athens time), the Master of LNG/c "Khan Jabbar Faisal" reported that his vessel Clean Force in position 05-46.3S, Long: 117-06.4E has suffered an explosion with subsequent fire and grounding. The vessel belongs to Seacrown Maritime Ltd she flies the Marshall Islands flag and registered to Majuro registry. She is a Double hull LNG carrier built in South Korea/ January 2008 and was en route from Bonny/ Nigeria to South Korea in Laden condition. One injury reported to this time. Experts are currently en route to the scene. The ship is manned with sufficient and competent crew. Total crew on board 32 including Master. All appropriate parties have been notified and Company has mobilized all available resources in the event there is further damage to the vessel and/ or crew injuries or pollution The Company will launch as soon as possible a thorough investigation in order to ascertain how the incident occurred. Also, every attempt is going to be made to keep MEDIA informed and updated as to the progress of this unfortunate event. We shall revert with more information at 1130 (Athens time) hours unless we have more details available. UPDATE #1 Pending to the contingency of LNG/c Clean Force, she has been safely refloated. Injured crew member has been transferred to medical shore facility. Assessment is being made for the vessel to proceed to discharging her cargo. All appropriate parties have been notified and Company has mobilized all available resources in the event there is further damage to the vessel and/ or crew injuries or pollution The Company will launch as soon as possible a thorough investigation in order to ascertain how the incident occurred.
